Key Upgrades & Engineering Refinements
New Lower Front Bulkhead: The standout mechanical upgrade centers entirely around trackside convenience and precision tuning. Edition 2 introduces a completely re-engineered lower front bulkhead layout. This allows racers effortless access to adjust and fine-tune belt tension in seconds. No more tedious, painful teardowns between qualifiers.
Redesigned Graphite Servo Mount: This high-grade graphite mount actively sheds unnecessary weight while dramatically improving the chassis's overall weight distribution. Moving this mass helps create a more balanced, neutral feel during aggressive cornering, maximizing front-wheel traction when rotating on high-grip asphalt.
Continuous Optimization: Beyond the major structural changes, Edition 2 features a variety of minor tweaks and factory adjustments. These subtle updates refine assembly tolerances, reduce suspension binding, and enhance consistency over long mains.
Retaining the Heritage DNA
Of course, the classic performance characteristics that defined the original remain fully intact. Edition 2 still features the rigid 5mm full carbon fibre vertical deck chassis for an ultra-low centre of gravity (CG), iconic VBC grey-anodised 7075-T6 aluminium parts, and factory-upgraded aluminium front C-hubs.
